Description
NRD, also designated MS817, is a cold-retreaded winter tyre for drive axles on heavy vehicles. It is developed for Nordic winter conditions and is particularly well suited for regional distribution and lighter earthmover operations where traction, economy and durability are essential.
Design & Grip
The tyre features a block pattern with deep grooves and dense siping that provide excellent traction and stability when driving on snow, ice and slush. The open tread promotes self-cleaning and improves road grip in demanding winter conditions without being directional.
Durability & Construction
NRD is retreaded – a technique where a new tread is vulcanised onto a thoroughly inspected carcass under controlled temperature. This produces an energy-efficient, durable tyre with even wear and a long service life. With a 20-ply carcass, the tyre is built for daily operations in winter environments.
